BALX FAQ
Answers to common questions about hosting, domains, VPS, VDS, billing, account access, and more.
Getting Started
Select Login in the top navigation and choose Create account. Enter your name, email address and password, choose Personal or Business, accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and submit the form. If email verification is required, complete it before ordering or managing services.
Web Hosting & cPanel
Use the cPanel access action provided with your BALX Web Hosting service. You can also access cPanel securely with your hosting domain or server hostname on port 2083, for example https://yourdomain.com:2083. Use the cPanel username and password assigned to your hosting account. If your domain is not yet pointing to BALX, use the server hostname or access link shown with your hosting service.
Log in to cPanel and open Email → Email Accounts. Select Create, choose the domain, enter the mailbox name and set a secure password. After the mailbox is created, you can use Webmail or configure it in an email application.
Domains & DNS
Use the nameservers or DNS records provided for the BALX service you want to use. If BALX is hosting the DNS zone, update the domain's nameservers at your registrar. If another provider remains authoritative for DNS, update the required A, AAAA, CNAME, MX or other records there instead.
VPS
A BALX VPS is a virtual server that gives you an isolated operating-system environment, its own allocated RAM and storage, and administrative control. VPS plans use shared physical CPU capacity, making them suitable for websites, development, applications and general-purpose workloads that do not require dedicated vCPU resources.
VDS
Billing & Payments
BALX products can offer Monthly, 3-month, 6-month and 12-month billing terms. Where term discounts are available, the configurator displays the discount and effective recurring price before checkout. The price shown in your final configuration summary is the authoritative price for that order.
Account & Security
Open the Forgot password page, enter the email address associated with your BALX account and submit the recovery request. Follow the secure reset link sent to your email. If you no longer have access to that email address, contact BALX Support for account-recovery assistance.
