Choose what works for you.

Use these controls to decide which optional technologies BALX may use on this browser and device. You can accept all available optional technologies, reject them, or make a category-by-category choice.

No optional consent-required technologies are currently in use.

BALX currently uses only technologies needed for requested functionality and session-scoped preferences initiated by you. Analytics and marketing technologies are not currently active. If BALX introduces an optional technology that requires your permission, controls will appear here before that technology is activated.

Strictly necessary

Always active

Required for core website operations. BALX serves localized content directly from canonical URLs without requiring session cookies. Terminal storage is used only when strictly necessary.

Preferences

How BALX uses cookies
and similar technologies.

We believe in straightforward infrastructure and clear principles for terminal storage, device access and user choice.

Cookies are small pieces of information stored on or accessed from your browser or device. BALX may also use technologies that perform similar functions, including local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, software development kits, device or browser identifiers, and other storage or access technologies.

These technologies may allow BALX to maintain authenticated sessions, protect accounts, remember privacy choices, provide functionality you request, understand how our services perform or, where permitted, measure communications and marketing.

Some technologies are provided directly by BALX. Others may be provided by third parties whose services we integrate into our websites or applications. Where a third party receives information from your browser or device, the technology register below identifies the provider, purpose and other relevant details.

We do not treat all cookies or similar technologies as equivalent. Whether a technology is enabled depends on its actual purpose, the applicable law, your choices, a function you explicitly request and, where relevant, recognised browser privacy signals.

What each category means.

We group browser storage, access and tracking technologies by their actual purpose so that you can make a clear choice.

Strictly necessary

These technologies are limited to functions genuinely required to operate or secure BALX, maintain an explicitly requested session, provide a function you request, or remember your privacy choice. They are not used as a way to hide analytics or marketing technologies inside a mandatory category.

Preferences

Preference technologies remember non-essential choices that make BALX more convenient to use. Examples include session-scoped display currency settings when you select a currency. They are optional unless a specific storage operation is genuinely required to perform a function you explicitly requested.

Analytics

Analytics technologies help BALX understand usage, reliability and performance so we can improve our websites and services. Where consent is required, these technologies remain disabled until you allow Analytics. Analytics technologies are not classified as necessary merely because they are useful to BALX.

Marketing

Marketing technologies may measure campaigns, create audiences, support retargeting or targeted advertising, or connect BALX activity with advertising platforms. They remain disabled unless the required permission exists and any applicable sale, sharing or targeted-advertising opt-out is respected.

When technologies are activated.

Privacy-by-default is an engineering discipline at BALX, not a decorative statement.

BALX does not activate consent-dependent technologies before the required choice has been made.

If you do not grant permission for an optional category, technologies in that category remain disabled.

Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent you from accessing BALX's core public website or core account functions. Some optional personalisation, measurement or marketing features may not be available.

A technology needed only for a function you explicitly request should, where practical, load only when you request that function rather than on every BALX page.

Cookies and similar technologies we use.

The list below is generated from the technologies actually identified in the BALX website audit. It is not a generic example list.

balx_currency
PreferencesSession storage · Session (cleared when browser session ends)

Stores the display currency selected by the user for the current browsing session.

Third-party services and technologies.

Minimising third-party dependencies protects user confidentiality and keeps website performance fast.

Some BALX features may rely on third-party services, for example identity providers, payment services, security tools, analytics platforms, customer support tools or advertising platforms.

We configure third-party integrations to minimise unnecessary data collection and to load them only when appropriate for their purpose. Where consent or another user choice is required, the relevant technology must not be activated before that requirement is satisfied.

The technology register identifies the third-party providers actually detected on BALX and the circumstances in which they are contacted. Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy notices in addition to any processing performed on behalf of BALX.

Identity Provider Trigger Note: On the BALX Sign In and Create Account pages, provider buttons (such as Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft) are client-side UI actions. No third-party tracking scripts or cookies load on initial page view; external authentication requests are initiated solely if and when the user affirmatively selects a provider.

What BALX records about your choice.

We store only the bare technical minimum required to remember and prove your instructions.

To remember, apply and where necessary demonstrate your privacy choice, BALX may store a limited preference record for this browser or device.

That record may contain only information needed for this purpose, such as:

  • the privacy-choice version;
  • the optional categories you accepted or rejected;
  • the date and time of your choice;
  • whether a recognised browser privacy signal was detected where relevant;
  • a pseudonymous preference identifier where technically necessary.

BALX does not need your browsing history, password or payment information merely to remember a cookie or tracking preference.

Dormant Consent Infrastructure: balx_privacy_choices
Current Status: Not currently written (0 consent-dependent technologies active)
Designated Mechanism: Browser Local Storage (First-party, schema version 3)
Policy Duration: 180 days (activated only when optional technologies are deployed)

U.S. state privacy choices.

Respecting legal opt-out preference signals and universal opt-out mechanisms under California CCPA/CPRA, Colorado CPA and other state laws.

Depending on where you live and whether an applicable U.S. privacy law applies to BALX, you may have rights to opt out of certain processing, including the sale or sharing of personal information or the use of personal data for targeted advertising.

BALX processes recognised universal opt-out signals where required by applicable law. A recognised browser signal does not mean that every other optional category, such as ordinary analytics, is automatically governed by the same legal rule.

The technology register identifies the marketing or advertising technologies BALX actually uses. BALX does not publish a statement that it “does not sell or share” personal information unless the underlying data flows have been audited against the applicable legal definitions.

Global Privacy Control

No signal detected

No recognised Global Privacy Control signal was detected for this browser.

The current BALX privacy technology audit found no sale, share, targeted-advertising or marketing-tracking technologies on the public website. As a result, a detected GPC signal currently has no active marketing technology to disable. BALX recognises applicable GPC signals and will apply them to covered sale, share or targeted-advertising processing if such processing is introduced in the future.

Your control stays with you.

You can return to Your Privacy Choices at any time to review or change the optional technologies allowed on this browser or device.

When you withdraw permission for an optional category, BALX stops activating technologies in that category for future activity. Where technically possible and appropriate, BALX also removes optional first-party cookies or stored values that were created only for that category.

Withdrawal does not necessarily erase information already lawfully processed before the change or information a third-party provider must retain for another lawful reason. Where a provider offers separate privacy or deletion controls, those are identified in the relevant provider information.

Change your mind anytime

You can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it.

Optional tools wait for consent

We do not use optional analytics or marketing technologies before you give consent.

Your choice is remembered

We save your settings, so you are not asked on every page.

Privacy Policy

Browser and device controls.

How local terminal settings interact with BALX privacy choices.

Your browser may also allow you to delete or block cookies and other website storage. Browser controls operate separately from BALX's privacy-choice controls.

Blocking all browser storage may affect authentication, account security, checkout, saved preferences or other functionality that depends on strictly necessary storage.

Privacy choices are normally applied to the browser or device where you make them unless BALX explicitly provides a reviewed account-level privacy preference.

International providers and data transfers.

Infrastructure location transparency and international transfer safeguards.

Some BALX service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you are located.

The browser-technology register on this page describes browser storage, tracking and similar technologies detected on the public BALX website. It does not by itself determine all international transfers associated with BALX services.

Broader information about service providers, processing locations and international-transfer safeguards is provided in the BALX Privacy Policy where applicable.

Children and privacy.

BALX is designed for business, enterprise and infrastructure operators.

BALX is an infrastructure and hosting service and is not designed as a service directed to children.

Where additional age-related privacy requirements apply, BALX handles them through the applicable account eligibility, Privacy Policy and Terms. BALX does not use this page to imply that tracking children is acceptable or that ordinary advertising consent rules automatically apply to minors.
